Pro 1 600 Review
The Oral-B Pro 1 600 is one of the best electric toothbrushes under £50. It comes with a mix of good basic features :
- A pressure sensor to alert you incase of overbrushing
- A 2 minute built-in timer to help you brush at two minutes dentist recommended brushing time
- One cleaning mode that all you need for daily brushing. This is in comparison to the high end electric toothbrushes like Genius X that comes up to 6 modes to cater for different brushing needs such as sensitive teeth, whitening, tongue cleaning and more.
- 3D cleaning which is considered as the best teeth cleaning technology when compared to the 2D. 3D involves oscillating, rotating and pulsating which helps to remove up to 100% dental plaque
- One brush head of your choice. You can choose it to come with a 3D white, flossAction, CrossAction or Sensitive brush head. Most people prefer the CrossAction brush head but , if you have sensitive teeth or gums go a sensitive brush head. There is also another option of getting one with 4 brush heads at a 10 to £15 more.
- On full charge this brush can stay on up to 7 days compared to 14 days of other high end toothbrushes. To charge it, the brush comes with a 2 pin UK plug.
- It is available in blue colour only.
Pro 2 2000 Review
There are varieties of Oral B Pro 2 electric toothbrushes (2 2000, 2 2500 and 2 2900) with minor differences between each other. Their differences are in battery life, price, travel case and the number of toothbrushes you get. The 2500 comes with a travel case while the 2000 and 2900 do not include one. The 2900 model comes with 2 sets of toothbrushes compared one of the 2000 and 2500 models.
- They both come with a visible pressor sensor that flashes when you brush hard
- They all include a 2 minute timer with a pacer that beeps after every 30 seconds to alert you to move to another mouth area.
- There 2 cleaning modes (dailyclean and gum care) in each of them compared to one mode of 600
- Each comes with one brush head that can either be a crossAction, flossAction, 3D white or sensitive
- Like the 600 model, the 2000 also feature the 3D cleaning action which the electric toothbruush to rotate, pulsates and oscillates to remove more plaque than the manual toothbushes
- 2000 models comes a Lithium battery that when full charged can last up to 14 days brushing twice a day.
Pro 3 3000 Review
Like the the 2000 model, Oral B 3000 also comes in three forms (3 3000, 3 3500 and 3 3900) with few differences among them. The 3 3500 comes with a travel case while the 3 3000 sometimes include one sometimes not. The 3 3900 model on the other hand comes with two set of electric toothbrushes.
- They both include a 360 visible pressure sensor that slows down and flashes red when you brush hard
- The 3000 models come with 3 cleaning modes (daily clean, sensitive and whitening) compared with 2 of 2000 and one of 600.
- There a built-in 2 minute timer in each of them to help you brush in recommended 2 minutes time
- You get one brush head for the 3 3000 and 3500 but 2 heads if you choose the 3 3900
- On full charge their batteries c an last up to 14days time
Which is Better Oral B Pro 1 , 2 or 3?
Considering that both of these toothbrushes have more or less the same features with minor differences; it is better go for Oral B 2500 for an added value of having a travel case included and a one more cleaning mode for sensitive teeth. This is because in case you choose the 600 model with no carry case and later decide you need a travelling case, you will have to pay £10 to 15 pounds to get case alone.
Or if you want an electric toothbrush for whitening teeth, then can go for Oral-B 3000 Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush that includes a whitening mode. The 3000 does not replace the teeth whitening products but will help remove more dental plaque while polishing you teeth to make them look more brighter than when brushing with the 2000 or 600 models
If you want just the cheapest one that can do the job without added bells and whistles, go for Oral B Pro 1.
