Prestige modes are (clean, deep clean+, white+, sensitive) and gum health lacking tongue clean and super sensitive modes when compared to io9.
  • The Series 9 iO’s cleaning modes can be toggled from the handle, whereas for the 9900 Prestige’s you will have to use the app to change from one mode to the other.
  • The Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige offers three different intensities to the washing modes, medium, low, and high. This feature is not in the Oral B IO Series 9.
  • The pacer on the 9900 Prestige works in six twenty seconds intervals when compared with the four x thirty seconds of the iO Series 9.
